This peer review is for Joshua Banks.

Joshua,
I examined your source material and your finished product
and I really like what you did with your ad. Your colors and text fit the ad
well. I also feel your piece is very well balanced. I like what you have done
with the text. Curving the text around the center picture is very effective.

I was just wondering, if you have considered making a series
of ads based on this concept, beyond what is being done for this class? I also
know that the ad implies drinking while driving because of the road and the
street, but do you think it would have been more effective to write something
about driving in the text or did you intentionally leave it out feeling that
the inference was more powerful?

I really feel the ad is successful in getting the point
across but I think it would be interesting to experiment with different
backgrounds for the ad. I am still not totally clear on what the middle part of
the ad is supposed to represent. Is it just for a sense of disorientation or is
it supposed to represent disaster? I feel that the way it is portrayed if
effective but perhaps a bit abstract. However, I am not sure what tone you are
going for. There might be other methods that would work well here ,as well.
Some other settings might work as well. Perhaps, like a highway or a more urban
type surrounding.

I really like your themes and would encourage you to
continue to make ads of this kind if you enjoy doing this type of project. I
feel the message is important and there are other creative ways that you can
portray this topic.  I do really like the
ideas behind the ad, and appreciate the time you took with this project. Thank
you for your time.

Sincerely,

Larry Antoskiewicz
